[Horned Anvil]

Ergh

Your Anvil is cool, but the lack of detail to the background kind of draws the eye away, drowning out the good stuff. Negative space is just as important as the main feature. If its all good, all of it will be viewed as good, if there are flaws, those are the only things people will pick out immediately. Advise I should follow too, heh.

Well.. unfortunately I didn`t set my 3D scene for the sole purpose of this image, so yeah, it could be improved alot in term of composition (it would be much nicer with a lantern or something). But hey, because it's 3D, it's much easier to redo so I might, one day. : ) I know most of my stuff isn't all good, guess it takes more experience.. ^_^ at least the anvil is cool! thanks!

Cool. Has kind of a Heavy Metal feel to it, minus the boobs and motorcycles. Really like it and glad to see I'm not the only one doing free hand around here.

I feel the same way. Charcoal is one of my favorite things to draw with and I don't smudge, I think its a cheap way to get out of detailing. Cool Pic all the same.

Well, I technically smudged in some areas to get a constant value then went over with cross hatching i.e. mostly the forehead. However I didn't crosshatch as much in order to push the focus up to the lens and the hands. Thanks!

Ahh...... Maybe try and draw your stuff out and scan it in if your having trouble with the computer art aspect. Doesn't really seem like your trying.

Meh. I don't know, the whole smoking kills thing could have been better portrayed. There really isn't much to it. No definite lines, no detail, and you were really liberal with the paint can feature. Meh meh.
