I have been checking out your stuff for a while, and although you are very talented, doesn't really seem you have made your own style just yet. Now, this on the other hand is interesting. You almost have a cell shaded look to it, something with the way you did the skin on this looks sharp, cartooney, but realistic. A lot of your other pieces look almost hazy, but I feel like this piece has something different to it. I like it a lot and I hope you apply this type of texture/shading/skin to your other models :D

Gotta tell ya, I'm not really into the whole Furry thing, but that doesn't mean I can't recognize a good style. You have a really good sense of angles, proportions and lines. I really enjoy looking at your stuff. Keep it up :D

polywomple responds:

thanks mate! I do a lot a furry art, but i always like to keep it tasteful and fun to look at for all ages

I really like this. Although it is very simple, the dark lines and lighter colors really compliment each other. Your perspective is good too, but your feet could use a little work and maybe a little more detail to the shell, but great stuff :D

idiot-monarch responds:

thanks broseidon

Ya just need a giant baby in the background near the moon, lol!

Yeah

Absolutely love and and your colors. Great stuff :D

Artofinca responds:

Cheers!

Yeah

I like it a lot, but your upper left shoulder and upper back seems like you messed up a bit and tried to cover it up with different colors (reds and oranges) Its noticeable because your brush strokes are completely different than the rest of the painting. Also, some different contrasting colors in the background would help bring more focus on your guy, it all seems to bleed together a bit, unless that is something you were going for. But that's a bout it. Great pic :D

DonStracci responds:

In fact I tryed a different technique with this one which was to use big amounts of paint, then I started head, upper left shoulder and upper back. However the pigment of the paint I used for the shoulder and upper back was much more transparent than lets say, the red of the head which was way more opaque. Which gave a different look, a bit dirty look i'd say, but I still liked it it gave some diversity. Also, I tend to go to my older style with smooth, thin layers of paint at some place (cape and some places on clothes and sky). I find it hard to break my habits completly. Thank you for your review, really appreciate it :D

Yeah

Don't know why, but I just really like this one. The shading, the colors, even your look of despair in the eyes is great.

Yeah

I really like the ridges in the iris, it gives it a 3d look and some depth. Throw some colored pencils in there buddy! There are some you can blend better if ya got the scratch :D

Yeah

Wow, great job with acrylics, its hard to work with but you've obviously got a nack for it. Good color choice as well, your whites really help the orange pop out and you definitely have the feathers down very well. Good job :D

Zeppelyn responds:

Thank you! I want to paint more.

Yeah

Really like the slight contrast of colors and the pencil sketch look to it, cool style.

dommi-fresh responds:

cheers i wanted it to look kinda sketchy

I am a dignified baby harvester. When the babies are of maturity, I rip them out of the ground and shove them into sleeping women.
